Start of work in the 'Sonnenpark' in June 2006. The construction of footways within the park is nearly completed.

View to the later centre line with herbs and bog plants. The clinker walls of the transition moor are already existing as well as the reinforcement of the other raised beds.

Casing of the Kneipp-basin and started walls of the raised bog.

The main footpath through the park with the view in direction of the 'Sonnenpark'. The centre line with herbs and bog plants is the target point of this way.

The centre line with herbs and bog plants. The construction works are almost finished but all planting works are still missing.

Kneipp-basin and construction for the later wooden deck at the end of the 'Sonnenpark'.

View to the park. The basin is almost finished. The benches are a special version with additional storage for shoes.

An arm-basin is connected to the benches. The pergola, which will be covered over with climbing roses, is visible in the background as well as the following fields outside the park.
The three raised beds while they were filled with substrate and the surface was built.
The fen - the upper layer of peat is still missing, so the substruction is visible. On the bottom layer of coarse-grained gravel tubs have been placed to store more water inside. A layer of finely grained gravel covers the tubs. The later surface of the water is seperated from the fen by bricks of peat.
The raised bog. The structure is already covered with peat.
In the transition moor the substrate is a mixture from peat and lime gritt to cause an optimal pH-value, which is necessary for the growth of the following plants.
The transition moor after the planting for the opening of the park the 19th and 20th of May 2007. The logs are completing the impression of a bog.
The raised bog. The peat has been too dry during the filling of the bed, that's why the substrate is swimming on the surface. But the material will subside shortly. On the left side in the foreground a Sarracenia purpurea - Huntsman's cup.
The rockery with its wide variaty of species. The landscaping company has done a great job in placing the huge lime stones.
The plants in the fen will grow and bloom in a little while. For the openig Iris and Ragged Robin were already blooming.
The wood and meadow bed with its liear beds in the foreground. The wood is not visible yet, but within the next years, the image will be changing.
