I had to work on at least three different projects within my main study period. I've chosen those which were based on implementation planning. Mainly planting design has always been a point of interest for me as you can see in the topic of my thesis. In the following you can find some examples for these project works.
Three groups with two students each have been working on this topic. The three blueprints, as a result of the project, worked on an area which is placed in the centre of the campus in Strenzfeld but still hardly known by any student. A new design for the existing nursery was a difficult problem to solve: surrounded by high fences, the place should have been integrated to the structure of the University and opend for students and interested visitors. Creating an attractive and mainly open space was the task of this project.
The better part of the work contained the planning of five model gardens of terraced houses inside the basements of old greenhouses. Every garden was very narrow by a length of nearly 24 m. In the following the blueprints of three of these gardens:

This implementation planning is based on the former project 'Mustergärten in Strenzfeld'. After the presentation of the resulting designs, one of the them was chosen as a base for the further planning.

As a result of the project we could present the following data as a basis for the realization within the next yeears. (All plans have been created with AutoCAD):
This projects has been a teamwork of seven students from different terms. An existing swiming pond, with an integrated bog, was intended to be redesigned to minimise the growth of algae.
We conceived a trickle filter - the pond-water is pumped up to the acclivity and leaves the pipe along the top. It has to pass a body of gravel where bacteria filter out nutrients to deprive the nutrition of the algae.
We generated three versions which depend on different requirements for the redesign of the garden in Aschersleben (Saxony-Anhalt) - "as is" pictures. My task was to design a minimal version which preserves the existing, tries to integrate it to the new design and so minimises costs and effort.
You can have a look at the complete presentation (in German) that was made for the Klosterrundgang (every project had to be defended during this examination). The file has been created with Macromedia Direktor and can be opened on every computer after download.
