Completion of the master thesis after defence with a "good" grade
Title: Graduate Engineer (FH) for Landscape Architecture

My graduation (a 4 years German Diploma course) is equivalent to the English 3 year BA + one year postgraduate Diploma, which is accredited by the BDLA and EFLA. I can therefore apply for an Associate Membership of the Landscape Institute.

January 2005 - April 2006   Master thesis "Design of a centre line within the moor spa Bad Schmiedeberg with special regard to the subjects of 'bog plants' and 'application of herbs according to Kneipp'"
August - October 2004   Stay abroad in Ireland
Main study period  

Landscape gardening and architecture, landscape and regional planning, landscaping, administrativ, environmental and planning law, fee structures and contract law, open space planning (including the construction of a website), water management, nature conservation, presentation techniques and conduct of negotiations, plant design, urban planning, informatics, transport planning and history of architecture

3. project: "Schwimmteich in Aschersleben" including defence

This study period also includes 22 weeks mandatory work experience and 14 days mandatory excursion

Basic study period  

Basic education in information technologies, nature conservation, ecology of landscape, surveying and mapping, landscaping, design, landscape architecture and environmental analysis

Further on botany, pedology, plant sociology, dendrology, perennial design, faunistics, mathemetic and statistic, cartography, regional planning, climatology and english

Three course-related internships - design, soil sience as well as concept presentation

Participation in a project in conjunction with the course-related internship design, which required taking part in a competition called "Kulturforum Berlin"
